According to the newspaper, Biden's insistence on making such an announcement shocked and surprised many of his health officials, and two officials in the US administration justified this lapse by saying that these statements were not prepared before for the interview and that Biden improvised them.
But the US President returned later in the interview to acknowledge that the impact of the pandemic on the psychological state of the American people was very strong, and there was a lot of uncertainty and anxiety, with more than a million people dying of the disease related to the virus.

The channel indicates that the number of deaths after about two and a half years of the spread of the disease depends on the data of death certificates collected by the National Center for Health Statistics of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the country, but it is believed that it is much less than the real number of deaths resulting from the pandemic, whether directly Or indirectly, as a result of the disruption of the health care system in the richest country in the world.
