Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi reiterated that his country is serious about reaching a good and just agreement, provided that it contains guarantees for his country.
“We cannot trust America, and because of the US violations of the nuclear agreement, the agreement is meaningless without guarantees so that the United States will not withdraw from it,” Raisi said in a statement today, reiterating the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program and its uses in medical treatment, agriculture, oil and gas.
Raisi stressed the need to lift the unjust embargo imposed on the Iranian people, considering that successive US administrations do not differ in their policies from their predecessors.
On the Palestinian issue, the Iranian president affirmed his support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, and said: All countries that support the Zionist entity are accomplices in its crimes.
