The 22-year-old Bruno Peetroons, whom the SPD is sending into the race for a seat in the state parliament, is still relatively unknown.
That is clear to him: Twice in his speech to the delegates of the SPD voting group conference on Sunday in the Miesbacher Bräuwirt he said: "My name is Bruno Peetroons." anyway, we don't do a spell check,” he jokes as the comrades fill out the papers for the election of delegates for the Oberbayern SPD constituency conference, for which Peetroons is also running.
The candidate for parliament
But the Holzkirchner would not be the first boy to prevail against well-known best agers in a state election.
His party's success in the last local elections motivates him.

Peetroons wants citizens to share in the profits from energy production.
He talks about cooperative and state housing - and it quickly becomes clear: This is a leftist.
But not a radical, but one who could generate majorities.
Calmly, kindly and modestly he asks the comrades for their support.
28 of 32 delegates came, as well as many members of the SPD local association in Miesbach and the Jusos.
The hall is well occupied, those present are belligerent.
For example, the SPD district chairman in Bad-Tölz-Wolfratshausen and former member of the Bundestag Klaus Barthel accuse the CSU of failings in housing, transport and energy policy.
He calculates that a monthly ticket for a distance of ten kilometers in the Oberland network of the railway costs 81.60 euros.
He scolds CSU candidate Ilse Aigner, who, as economics and energy minister in Seehofer's cabinet, failed to build power lines from north to south: "And then she claims that Seehofer didn't let her.
You can't stand everywhere in a dirndl as a minister, member of parliament and president of the state parliament and then claim: I have nothing to do with that!"
26 delegates finally vote for Peetroons, two abstain.
The district council candidate
The result for Robert Kühn is similar.
The mayor of Wiesse is elected district council candidate with 27 votes (one abstention).
Kühn says: "We show that we make the difference!
We offer actual change instead of showing people the faces that have always existed.” The SPD candidates stand for diversity and generational change.
As a district councilor, Kühn wants to promote diversity and participation - and to make the work of the district council better known.
"Two SPD mayors made it in the local elections, I see no reason why we shouldn't make it in the district and state elections too!"
