The Wounded Home Project announced that Decree No. 19 regarding the aggravation of the injury issued by President Bashar al-Assad today allows the wounded person to be presented in his civilian capacity to military medical boards and military medical committees.
The project clarified on its Facebook page that, based on the new decree, it is possible to re-evaluate the aggravation of the injury among the demobilized war-wounded, who now hold civilian status, and calculate the new disability percentage for them.
Today, President al-Assad issued Legislative Decree No. 19 of 2022 regarding the aggravation of injuries among the wounded in war operations, amending Article 43 of the Military Pensions Law issued by Legislative Decree No. 17 of 2003 and its amendments, and Article 42 of the Internal Security Forces Pensions Law issued by Legislative Decree No. 2 of 2012.
