Today, the galleries of Julia Art Gallery were decorated with new, unique and new paintings of excellence in a special exhibition, the first of its kind (Digital Art), in which ten artists from the young generation professional with new technology participated, and their proceeds returned to Basma Association for Children with Cancer.
Shedding light on the non-circulated and different ideas and the importance of introducing them to the public was the main goal from which the idea of the exhibition, which was held at the Julia Domna Hotel, was launched. Art and they are one of the few specialists in digital art in Syria, and every artist chose his idea himself to express his self and his feelings through it.
Digital art is one of the arts that present completely different visions that traditional art cannot express in terms of high technology in drawing, stereoscopic shape, color fusion, speed of implementation, and even creative ideas that require high technical skills in drawing and technology, according to what the artist Tony Ayoub, “participant in the exhibition” stated. He explained the secret of his interest in this art due to his discovery of the artistic side of his studies in architecture and expressing it electronically with the help of international artists specialized in this field when the features of this art began to appear in Syria in 2009.
Ayoub stated that he participated in foreign exhibitions in Germany on electronic screens and has multiple personal exhibitions in this field. As for his participating paintings, he expressed their connection to himself and that they are an abstract expression of the human aspect and its relationship to technology by presenting a drawing of repressed feelings in the human soul.
This is the first participation of the artist Muhammad Amin Al-Manna in a special exhibition on the art of digital art, who explained the meaning of this art as a digital art that draws forms of science fiction through computer programs. From electronic games and films, this art appeared in the eighties and began to spread in the world and became specialized.
He expressed his happiness in shedding light on this type of art that he carried his passion for four years ago and worked hard to refine his skills, create his own designs and develop them to build a new future for this creative art.
As for the artist, Nada Zeno, she wanted to present a fictional idea about the future of technology, that the human being will become the center of the universe and the source of energy instead of being a consumer of energy, and the scales of nature will be overturned, so that the robot will become the only living creature, pointing out that electronic drawing is a fast and beautiful way to express unconventional science fiction and access With imaginative ideas beyond nature.
Ghazal Barjoud, one of the exhibition's visitors, expressed her desire to see Syria's entry into the field of interest in this type of attractive and attractive arts, and to keep abreast of global technical and cultural developments, indicating that it is a first and important step on the path to this art and should not be the last.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition continues for ten days.
