Lebanese President General Michel Aoun confirmed that he is working to form a Lebanese government with full powers.
During his meeting today at Baabda Palace, the ambassadors of the European Union in Lebanon, Aoun said, "In the event of a presidential vacancy occurring after October 31, the president will assume the full powers of the president," noting that Lebanon needs political and sovereign reform in addition to structural changes in the system that must be met. Enhance and repair it.
In late May, Aoun asked the current government headed by Najib Mikati, the caretaker, until a new government is formed.
