The municipality of Bad Heilbrunn has been responsible for the lunchtime care of the Bad Heilbrunn children since September 1st.

Bad Heilbrunn – According to Silvia Rossberger, the transition from private to municipal sponsorship went without a hitch: “There were hardly any questions,” reported the pedagogical director Silvia Rossberger.

"The parents are happy and grateful that this is now such a good umbrella story."

In view of the amount of money that is turned over - 60,000 to 70,000 euros per year - it is appropriate for the municipality to take care of it, said Mayor Bernd Rosenberger.

In his opinion, the newly designed statutes were very successful.

He particularly likes the fact that all decisions are made by a triumvirate that includes the school management, the community and the midday care staff.

Seven euros are charged monthly for each lesson per week.

A hot lunch can also be booked: "I think that's a great offer," said Rosenberger.

The lunchtime care offer is used by a total of 80 children and up to 50 at the same time, Rossberger added: "So there's a lot going on, but we haven't reached the limits yet."

Fees have changed

The lunch care tries to cover all areas - there are music teachers, sports officers and a "handicraft crew".

In addition, the children would spend “an incredible amount” of time outdoors.

Building authority manager Hans Keller reported that the scale of fees had changed somewhat and the fees were raised from 6.50 to seven euros.

Konrad Specker wanted to know whether holiday care is being considered.

Silvia Rossberger said yes, but qualified: "We don't offer it for children with less than ten because it doesn't pay off then."
