The wreck site is about 6 to 7 kilometers away from the rescue site.

After the marine police officers questioned the two men, they believed that another person put on a life jacket and jumped into the sea to escape, but they did not know what to do, so they stepped up their search and rescue with rescuers such as the Fire Service, the Flight Service and the Marine Department; At about 4 pm, a man wearing a life jacket was found floating on the sea outside the Taikoo Institute of Marine Science, Hok Tsui Port, Hong Kong Island, but he was found dead on the spot after being rescued.

It is initially believed to be the missing person who jumped into the sea in the boat accident.

Henglan Island is about 5 to 6 kilometers away from Hok Tsui.

It is understood that the speedboat involved was carrying 3 mainland men at the time of the incident. It was reported that the speedboat exploded near Donglongzhou due to a problem with the machine.

The two rescued men were believed to be illegal immigrants, and they did not have any identification documents on their bodies. The police later arrested them on suspicion of "illegal immigration", and the case was handed over to the Marine Police Regional Crime Squad for follow-up.

The police replied that the two arrested men were surnamed Zeng (39 years old) and Liang (29 years old); the deceased was surnamed Wu (43 years old).
