At least six patients have been taken to hospitals after a building explosion in Chicago.

Six people were taken to hospitals after a building exploded in Chicago on Tuesday morning, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Three of those people are in serious to critical condition, the agency said on Twitter.
The source of the explosion is unknown at this time.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), along with the Chicago Police bomb unit, is on the scene to provide assistance.
The adjacent building is being evacuated and the Fire Department has requested additional personnel to conduct searches of the affected structure.
