The black buildings in Weidach have to be demolished.

The case made headlines across Germany.

A new suspicion arose in the city's building committee.

Wolfratshausen – A Waldramer wants to put his car under one roof.

He therefore applied for permission to build a double garage on his property, even if the development plan provided for other areas for a garage.

The extension should measure six by six meters.

In the valid development plan of the property, a construction window for a single garage is provided.

Well-known case: The client has to demolish a total of three single-family houses at Isarspitz 24, 24a and 25 in Wolfratshausen by October 1st at the latest.

This is required by the lower building control authority at the district office - because all three buildings are illegal buildings.

"Documents are missing" - politician has suspicions

The applicant named two reference buildings in the vicinity to the municipality.

"There, larger outbuildings are attached to the existing buildings in a similar form," wrote the building department in the draft of the building committee meeting.

He had to decide whether these buildings in the neighborhood could justify exceeding the development plan.

The vote was clearly against with 2:7.

However, there was a delicate suspicion beforehand.

"Apparently they are illegal buildings" - the mayor intervenes

The buildings mentioned as a reference are actually there.

According to the town hall, "the city does not have any documents on these buildings".

Gerlinde Berchtold (SPD) said: "Apparently, these are illegal buildings." The city councilor, who has always fought against the practice of some builders, quarreled for this reason with refusing the applicant's request.

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Wolfratshausen-Geretsried newsletter.

"If I vote against it, then I've seen the illegal constructions, but I would put obstacles in the way of anyone who wants to do it officially." Deputy Mayor Günter Eibl intervened: "There are no documents about the garages.

But that doesn't automatically mean that it's illegal constructions."

The committee only had to decide on the present application.

The board made that clear.

The reasons given by the councilors for the no were that the construction window was exceeded over a large area.
