Numerous UFO sightings over Ukraine - astronomers are puzzled

First in the USA, now there are eerie UFO sightings in the Ukraine as well.

The secret services are concerned.

Do the unknown objects have anything to do with the war?

Kyiv/Munich - Warfare sometimes takes on the most absurd proportions.

But is there a connection to the escalation in Ukraine with the phenomenon that has now been identified?

A study of strange events in the sky over Kyiv has puzzled astronomers, politicians and apparently the United States Pentagon.

Around the Ukrainian capital, the seat of the state government, numerous unidentifiable flying objects have apparently been spotted bustling in the sky of the war-torn country.

Now Ukraine is not known for scientific expertise in the field of astronomy and space exploration.

However, the project is based on an American model and results from strange observations that have already been made in the USA and that also have an impact on Congress and the Pentagon there.

Similar UFO discoveries have now been made in Ukraine, according to scientists.

It is a project of the Astronomical Observatory in Kyiv and the resident National Academy of Sciences.

The results of the study were published in a preprint.

Ukraine: UFOs over Kyiv - Is there a connection with the war?

In the USA there had previously been similar sightings of celestial bodies which, despite expert knowledge, could not be clarified to this day.

Naturally, several departments overseas are now dealing with the celestial phenomenon, which in theory could pose a serious threat to the United States.

As before, however, there are apparently no clues as to whether it is an earthly or even extraterrestrial phenomenon, although the latter has already been drilled through in countless film adaptations.

Now, with the UFO hype, there is also a link to the war zone Ukraine, where strange sky lights apparently also appear in the sky.

According to the study, two locations were equipped with special camera systems: one in Kyiv, the second in the village of Vinarivka, about 120 kilometers to the south.

The unidentifiable sky lights, which are already causing a sensation in the USA, were also shown there.

The astonishing observations of astro-researchers in Kiev's airspace are described in the published paper as follows: According to the scientists, there are two types of objects (also called "UAP") - "cosmics" and "phantoms".

• The first category, cosmics, are luminous objects brighter than the background sky.

• "Phantoms" are dark objects with a color contrast of up to about 50 percent.

• According to those responsible, the flying objects were between three and twelve meters in size and flown both "alone and in swarms".

• Also striking: The speeds are estimated at up to 15 kilometers per second.

"We see them everywhere and observe a significant number of UFOs, the nature of which is not clear," reads the paper's analysis.

Synchronized cameras were used for the recordings, and the frame rates and exposure times underwent special fine-tuning because the mysterious flying objects are barely perceptible to the naked eye.

Researchers speak out

An essential question that should therefore also concern the US secret services and the Pentagon: Do the strange observations in the sky have anything to do with the Ukraine war?

Whether terrestrial, extraterrestrial or even military: The authors of the study allegedly do not want to and cannot commit themselves to the origin of the sighted UFOs.

However, according to their own statements, they are fairly certain that these are neither rockets nor other weapon systems.
