Penzberg – Police officers in Penzberg proved to have a good nose: They found small amounts of drugs in two people.
On Monday (September 19), a patrol from the Penzberg inspection checked a Kochler (34) in the area of the train station at around 7:50 p.m.
Since, according to Matthias Krümpel, "the smell of cannabis could be perceived, the person was searched".
The law enforcement officers had secured "a small amount" of the drug.
The 34-year-old is now expected to be reported under the Narcotics Act.
Marijuana found after burglar alarm
A short time later, around 10:50 p.m., a patrol was called to a burglar alarm at a construction site on Seeshaupter Straße.
While it was a false alarm, officers caught the odor of marijuana from a legitimate tradesman at the scene.
During the subsequent search of the 35-year-old from Weinheim, three joints and a small amount of marijuana were seized.
The man is now being reported under the Narcotics Act.
