Residents of Holon fear after the murder: "The city is under lockdown"

The security forces are searching for the suspect in the murder of the 84-year-old woman, and according to estimates it was an incident with a nationalist background.

Residents of Holon expressed concern this evening (Tuesday) following the murder of the 84-year-old woman on Hashmonaim Street in the city, which was allegedly done on a nationalist basis.

The police have not yet arrested the suspect in the murder, and the Shin Bet is involved in the investigation. Several workers who work at a nearby construction site will be questioned after the murder.

"My daughter wanted to go out with friends.

Sarit Ivan, a resident of Bat Yam whose sister lives on the street where the murder took place, said that "My sister is locked in the house with my niece. A person decides to kill an animal and run away, what do we do here on holidays?".

An eyewitness who lives near the scene said that he heard an ambulance coming from the window and shouted, "Clear the way."

"I went downstairs and there was a pool of blood, a police officer and an ambulance came, they tried to resuscitate her. It was really scary. She had severe bruises on her face."

L., a neighbor who lives in the building opposite the arena, said that every night he sees lights from the building, and in his opinion "the workers sleep there every night".

Ilana Moshe, who lives in an apartment overlooking Hashmonaim Street, told Walla!

Daniel Giat and Nathan Ross, MDA medics who arrived at the scene and determined the woman's death, said that "the injured woman was lying on the sidewalk unconscious with bleeding bruises on her body.

We performed medical tests, she was without signs of life and unfortunately we had to pronounce her dead."
