The Palestinian security forces arrested the wanted Masaab Esheti, a member of Hamas and a released prisoner, in Nablus tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) - Palestinian sources reported.

Sources said that her wife was wanted by Israel and she had threatened to kill him several times in the past if he did not turn himself in.

In one of the photos appearing on Palestinian social networks, his wife can be seen next to Abraham Navolsi, who was killed in a shootout with the IDF and special forces in the Kasbah of Nablus about a month ago. Following his arrest, a protest developed in the main square in Nablus and clashes broke out with the Palestinian security forces.
Young people burned tires, blocked roads and broke the order in several centers in the city.

It was reported that four Palestinians were wounded by the shootings of the security forces.

The organization "Gov Aryot" in Nablus announced that it condemns the "kidnapping" of its wives by the security forces and warned the Palestinian Authority against harming him or extraditing him to Israel.
"Our guns are aimed at Israel. Don't deflect them, and God willing they won't be deflected."
In Jenin, gunmen opened fire on the Muqatea building in the city.

Hamas condemned his wife's arrest and demanded his immediate release.
The organization called on the PA to stop "its unpatriotic policy" and defined it as "the mark of Cain on the forehead of the PA and its security coordination."
Jihad also condemned and said that "the resistance will not accept the behavior of the mechanisms of the authority that serves the occupation."
