The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor announced the organization of the second camp for the installation of prosthetic limbs in Damascus, in cooperation with the Indian Embassy, on 9-9-2022, at the Vocational Rehabilitation Institute for Persons with Disabilities in Hamish.
The ministry indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that the camp lasts for 42 days and aims to install about 500 lower prostheses.
The ministry indicated that those wishing to benefit from the installation of the lower prosthesis should fill out a form through a link on the ministry's page, or visit the building of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor on Al-Thawra Street, opposite Al-Khaja Market, the second floor, the Department of Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, during official working hours.
Director of the Vocational Rehabilitation Institute for the Disabled in Damascus, Wafaa Fueti, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the institute was equipped with all the equipment and materials designated for the manufacture of limbs within it, and received the first shipment of materials used in manufacturing, noting that the institute was equipped to receive arrivals from other governorates by preparing the institute to host them and provide accommodation service them while they are in the camp.
