Fürstenfeldbruck – Despite the rainy weather, hard-nosed car lovers couldn't resist visiting the special car event last weekend.
As every year, there was a lot to admire and enjoy at the Motorworld Oldtimertage Fürstenfeld: In addition to unusual cars, motorcycles, fashion, accessories and spare parts, an exciting supporting program ensured a lot of good mood.
A separate exhibition was dedicated to the cult vehicle VW Bulli in the Stadtsaalhof with “75 years of the VW Bulli”.

The heart of the event was the classic car meeting with over 1,200 vehicles from different eras, for which classic car drivers could register online in advance and drive in via the Engelsberg.
The visitor highlights included the start and finish of the Fürstenfeld Classic Motorbike Tour as well as the competitions "The 80's Ensemble", the "4.
Concorso Competizione Sportivo” and the “Concours d'Elegance Motorbike”.
Heroes of the race tracks
True heroes of the race track presented themselves at the "Concorso Competizione Sportivo" on the Waghäuslwiese on Sunday: Under the motto "Fast and Elegant" the competition with 40 automobile legends presented the development of racing.
Amongst others, a Cisitalia 202 SC Berlinetta Vignale, an Opel Manta B racing car and a Lotus Europa TC were there.
There was also a car from the pre-war era, the Buick 90 Speedster.
Mix of young and old
With the 80's ensemble, the somewhat younger generation got its chance: the age of the driver and the age of the vehicle were allowed to add up to a maximum of 80.
Cars of any brand that are at least 20 years old were allowed to enter.
The viewer liked it.
They were delighted with the colorful mix of young and oldtimers from the last three decades of the 20th century.
