Three Tunisians have been arrested for the alleged murder of a Frenchman found dead this weekend in the swimming pool of a house on the Tunisian island of Djerba, a judicial spokesman said on Tuesday (September 20th).
The three suspects, including "
the fiancée
" of the victim, are suspected of "
intentional homicide with premeditation
", told AFP Arafat al-Mabsout, spokesman for the court of Medenine (South-East), on which the island of Djerba depends.

According to local media, the fiancée, in her twenties, confessed to the murder with the complicity of the two other arrested suspects.
The court spokesperson did not reveal the identity of the victim but according to the French newspaper la
Provence
, it is Romain Pizzato, a 42-year-old ski coach from Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
