A 30-year-old laborer was killed today (Tuesday) as a result of a fall from a height on Obeh Israel Street in Beitar Illit.
Medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and performed CPR on him, but had to pronounce him dead.
Levy Deitch, a medic from Ihud Hatzla, said: "We performed CPR on the worker who, according to the workers at the site, fell from a scaffolding while working on a construction site. Unfortunately, at the end of the CPR efforts, he was pronounced dead as a result of the nature of the severe injuries he suffered."

In another scene, a worker was burned during his work on Route 4 at the Ashkelon North interchange.
MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Sheba-Tel Hashomer Hospital, where he is in serious condition with burns in several places on his body.
MDA paramedic, Israel Logsi, and senior MDA medic, Ahmed Abu Moch, said: "When we arrived at the scene of the incident, we saw that it was an actual person who was injured during road work. He was in great pain and suffered from burns on all parts of his body. We gave him initial medical treatment on the ground, which included giving Medicines, we put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital while he is sedated and breathing, in a serious and stable condition."
