“A cost-of-living crisis is raging.
trust crumbles.
inequalities explode.
Our planet is burning.
People suffer - and the most vulnerable suffer the most.” The major international challenges cannot only be solved by a “coalition of the willing”: “We need a world coalition.”
In his speech, Guterres complained that the Ukraine war had "lead to widespread destruction with massive violations of human rights".
The latest reports about the discovery of hundreds of graves in Izyum, Ukraine, are "extremely disturbing".
