Many students were injured today by gas inhalation in the settlement of Araba in the Galilee.
At 12:02 a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the area about students being injured by tear gas at an educational institution in the Araba settlement.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer 8 children about 11 years old in mild condition, fully conscious with slight difficulty breathing and burns in the eyes to Furia Hospital and the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
8 more children in a minor condition were evacuated independently.
The educational institution stated: "One of the students was playing with pepper spray in class as an act of mischief, and suddenly the students started not feeling well."

The Furia Hospital reported that 21 students aged 11-12, 7th graders, who were injured by tear gas at the Araba educational institution, arrived at the hospital.
Dr. Iran Tal Or, director of the Malrad: "All the students arrived in a mild condition, will be treated and released to their homes as soon as possible."
