It can get slippery on the roads in Bavaria.
There is a risk of frost on Wednesday and Thursday.
Then late summer comes around the corner with 20 degrees.
Munich -
It's cold in the Free State.
Unusually cold for the time of year.
So cold that the first snow has already fallen in the Alps.
Desperate attempts are currently being made to find a missing 24-year-old hiker on the Hochkalter, but the snowstorm has so far prevented the search.
So it doesn't look like a golden autumn at the moment.
For the next few days, however, a high has been announced that will bring back late summer, at least for a short time.

explains that it is currently very cold for this time of year.
The cold and snow in the Alps also affects the rest of Bavaria.
The result is ground frost.

From Friday, Hoch Stefan will bring back late summer.
"He's not coming back with all his might, but something is coming," says Schenk.
Warm air masses from the southwest are the reason.
As a result, temperatures rise to 20 degrees almost everywhere in Germany, but in Bavaria you have to be satisfied with maximum temperatures of around 17 to 19 degrees.
