The Department of Health said that from October 5, six of its social health clinics will provide vaccination services for patients with high-risk sexual behaviors.
Vaccination services will also be provided at the Integrated Treatment Centre in Kowloon Bay of the Department of Health and the special medical clinics of the Hospital Authority (HA) Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital.

According to the department, the immediate health impact of monkeypox on Hong Kong citizens is low. The Department of Health continued that in addition to implementing the vaccination program, the government has prepared for monkeypox, including setting aside a Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre for quarantine of close contacts of confirmed monkeypox cases, as well as other preventive measures under the contingency plan .
Members of the public, especially those at high risk of exposure, should be vigilant and avoid close physical contact with persons or animals suspected of being infected with monkeypox.
