State election: Gerhard Waas is a candidate for the Greens

The district greens have their candidate: Gerhard Waas (59) will run in the state elections in October next year and will face a prominent opponent.

County

‒ The Greens from the county voted.

You want to go to the state elections with Gerhard Waas from Schliersee.

At the nomination meeting on Wednesday evening in the Gasthof zur Post in Warngau, the 59-year-old prevailed with 53 to 36 votes against Thomas Tomaschek (46) from Rottach-Egern.

Both had previously campaigned for themselves in dedicated speeches.

Thomas Tomaschek ran as a candidate in 2018, but was now defeated by Gerhard Waas.

Waas meets a prominent opponent.

Ilse Aigner, President of the State Parliament, is again in the running for the CSU.

She was nominated a few days ago with 100 percent of the votes.

The SPD challenger has already been determined.

District chairman Bruno Peetroons (22) from Holzkirchen is running here.

Elisabeth Janner is again a candidate for the Greens for the district council.

She was unopposed and received 100 percent of the votes.

The 64-year-old from Miesbach has been a member of the committee since 2013.
