According to the text of the decree published by the Kremlin, in accordance with federal laws issued on May 31, 1996 on defense and on February 26, 1997 on preparation for mobilization, and mobilization in the Russian Federation, partial mobilization has been announced as of today, when citizens are invited to military service and the invitees will enjoy the status of contract military personnel who They serve in the Russian armed forces including the wage level.

The decree indicated that the validity of military service contracts concluded by the military will continue until the end of the partial mobilization period, with the exception of cases of military dismissal from military service on the grounds specified by this decree.

The reasons for exemption from military service during the period of partial mobilization for soldiers who perform military service under contract, as well as citizens of the Russian Federation who have been called up for military service for mobilization in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are determined by age if they have exceeded the maximum age for military service and by state of health.

The decree indicated that the Russian government should finance partial mobilization activities and take the necessary measures to meet the needs of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and other military forces, formations and bodies during the period of partial mobilization, and that senior officials in Russia's entities should ensure the recruitment of citizens for military service in order to mobilize in the armed forces in the required number and deadlines Determined by the Russian Ministry of Defense for each of the country's constituent entities.

The decree granted citizens of the Russian Federation working in military industrial complexes the right to postpone conscription for military service for mobilization during the period of work in these institutions, while the government determines the categories of citizens who are granted the right to postpone and the procedures for granting it.
