A few days after its opening, a large turnout is witnessed by the shopping festival (Sawa we return it 2022) in the traditional markets in Homs.
During a SANA tour of the exhibition, the citizens emphasized the diverse and distinctive offers that the exhibition witnesses, and the large discounts for various goods.
Sawsan Al-Mohammed, the organizer of the exhibition and the director of the Syrian Commercial Directory, indicated that the exhibition was organized within a week, as contacts were made with all companies from different governorates from Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Deir ez-Zor, explaining that the turnout is large and the prices are distinguished, and there are discounts ranging between 20 and 30 percent of all products, whether soap or Detergent, citrus and nutritional oils, and the exhibition continues until Friday.
Musa Khalil, one of the owners of oil factories in Hasya Industrial City, indicated his participation through oil products of different sizes of sunflower and soy types, indicating that there was a great demand for the product by consumers during the exhibition.
In turn, Abd al-Rahman Shishman of a company specialized in the manufacture of Aleppo laurel soap and natural cosmetics, explained that their arrival from Aleppo confirms the need to return to the old markets in all provinces and revive them again, indicating that selling prices are according to cost.
A number of participants, including Jaber Al-Ahmad and Jawaher Muhammad, spoke about the importance of participating in these exhibitions because of the direct marketing opportunities they provide with consumers and the revival of heritage industries.
For her part, Aya al-Qahf, Executive Director of the Syrian Observatory for Business, said that the idea of the festival was launched since the issuance of Decree No. 13 to support heritage markets and exempt them from fees, in addition to providing a lot of facilities, noting that the name of the festival (Sawa We Return it) aims to emphasize the revival of the damaged areas. by terrorist crimes.
Al-Qahf indicated that they worked to fully prepare this event with great support from the Homs Chamber of Commerce and government institutions such as the Electricity Corporation and others, stressing that the experience of the festival is a very special one that we will work to repeat.
