The TV program "Aktenzeichen XY" on ZDF has provided new information in the case of a missing 34-year-old from the Marburg-Biedenkopf district.

Update from Thursday, September 22, 4:50 p.m .:

In the case of the missing Samira Semic from the Marburg-Biedenkopf district, the police have new information.

As the

Hessenschau

reports, citing the Marburg police, the investigators have received ten new tips since the TV program “Aktenzeichen XY” was broadcast on Wednesday (September 21), which dealt with the case of the missing 34-year-old.

A police spokesman said that while the program was still running, the officials had already followed up the first new clues.

For tactical reasons, the police could not reveal details of the new information, the

Hessenschau

said .

Semic has been missing since July 28.

It was only in December that the 34-year-old moved from northern Germany to Kirchhain (Marburg-Biedenkopf district) with her now 12-year-old son.

As

ZDF

reported, she told her son shortly before she disappeared that she would be right back.

At the time, Semic was also four months pregnant.

One lead leads the police to the red light district: Semic is said to have offered sexual services on an internet platform.

The investigators assume that the 34-year-old did not disappear voluntarily, but was the victim of a crime.

The search for missing persons comes to ZDF: where is Samira from Kirchhain – this is known about the case so far

First report from Tuesday, September 20, 3:28 p.m.:

Marburg/Kirchhain – The case of a missing woman from Kirchhain in central Hesse (Marburg-Biedenkopf district) will be unsolved on Wednesday (September 21) in the ZDF program “Aktenzeichen XY … unsolved “ themed.

Since July 28, a Thursday, there has been no trace of 34-year-old Samira Semic.

The police cannot rule out that she was the victim of a crime.

A special commission has been looking for the missing person for weeks in vain.

Most recently, she is said to have stayed in her hometown of Kirchhain, a town of 16,000 northeast of Marburg.

The investigators last suspected that on the day of her disappearance between 11 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. she got into a previously unidentified vehicle on Unterm Groth street.

Where Semic has been since then remains a mystery.

Despite an intensive search with a public manhunt via posters and social media, there is no indication of where the 34-year-old from Kirchhain could be - or how her disappearance can be explained.

The police announced in early September that investigations would continue in all directions.

Another missing person case on TV

"Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved" rolls up older missing persons cases again and again.

For example, the ZDF show at the beginning of September was about the disappearance of a man from Lower Saxony in April 1997. He never arrived at the University Hospital in Göttingen, where he should have been treated.

After the case had been seen on television, the investigators received double-digit clues again – 25 years after the first investigations.

Now the officials of the special commission "Samira" want to present the missing person case from Hesse in prime time on ZDF.

Among other things, they bring the following questions to "Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved":

  • Where could Samira Semic be now?

  • Who has seen the missing person since Thursday, July 28, 11 a.m.?

  • Who was between 11 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on Unterm Groth street in Kirchhain and noticed a waiting car there, which then drove away with the 34-year-old?

  • Who noticed a vehicle parked in the Kirchhainer area on Thursday, July 28th - for example in the forest or in a field?

  • The missing person is about 1.58 meters tall and has long black hair.

  • It is not known whether she wore her hair loose or tied when she left her apartment.

The police will take information about the missing person from the Marburg area - also in the run-up to the broadcast of "Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved" on ZDF - on telephone number 06421 / 406-555.

In Kassel in northern Hesse, the search for a missing person recently took a happy turn: a young woman did not come home after the party, but did not stay gone for long.
