Concerned residents inform an Oklahoma police station about a large wolf lurking near a daycare center.
They collect him.
When wolves are present in a densely populated residential area, it can cause fear or concern in some residents.
After all, wolves are considered dangerous and proper behavior can save lives.
No wonder, then, if you call the police when you see one.
But sometimes the senses can also deceive and what you think you see is not quite the facts.

That's exactly what happened in Oklahoma City.
Police officers were called to help early in the morning because a "big, bad wolf" was staying north of the city near a daycare center.
Actually unusual, since certain wolf species have been exterminated in the city and the "grey wolf" is classified as endangered here.
Nevertheless: The fears of the residents are understandable, after all it is about their children.
And Ursula von der Leyen had to cope with the fact that wolves act unconditionally in the fight for food.
The officials move out.
Once there, the supposedly bad wolf turns out to be a loving family dog who just ran away from home, the
Oklahoma City Police Department
reports on their Facebook page.
"Big, bad wolf" hangs around in a residential area - and is brought home in a police car
However: The roaming four-legged friend is a special hybrid dog that carries 85 percent wolf genes and only 15 percent Alaskan Malamute genes.
A mix-up is therefore quite understandable.
But fortunately the misunderstanding could be clarified and the concerned owner found.
She had already placed a "search ad" and sorely missed her dog, as she commented on Facebook after the rescue.
"A big thank you to the
Oklahoma City Police Department
and
The Village Police Department
for helping to locate my Nova!
It's been a horrible 24 hours and now she's finally getting a well-deserved bath and nap, thanks to you and the community.
I can't put into words how grateful I am!" And the officers reply: "We are glad that we were able to help Nova get home safely".
But there are other voices too.
Here is a selection:
"Imagine how many people walked by it and thought they saw a real wolf."
"Thank you for bringing her home safely!
These beautiful dogs are often killed just because they look like wolves.
I'm glad this case turned out well."
"It could have ended so badly.
I'm happy for this animal.
Secure!"
"I like that...thank you for treating the four-legged friend with respect".
"He needs a very bright, highly visible collar so he doesn't accidentally get run over."
