“Athena”, a shock film about the suburbs shot in Évry, is released on Netflix: “The neighborhood had become a huge plateau”

At the dawn of the demolition of the Parc aux Hares slab and several buildings, by 2024, "Athena", the film by Romain Gavras co-written with Ladj Ly, available this Friday on Netflix, sounds like an end clap .

The end of a historic district of Évry-Courcouronnes, which the film crew chose as a setting, for two months, in July-August 2021, reminding the oldest of the fervor that once animated this city of Essonne.

The inhabitants did not remain spectators since many of them got a small job on this occasion.
