A man who was driving a stolen vehicle broke through the entrance barrier to Israel tonight (Thursday), was arrested and handed over to the police for questioning. The unusual event occurred around 01:15, when the vehicle burst into the entrance to the airport from Route 1 (Jerusalem-Tel Aviv). The security guard fired a bullet at the vehicle. All entrances and exits to the airport were blocked for about an hour and a half. Security guards of the National Security Agency searched the airport area and found the driver of the vehicle, a resident of Judea and Samaria, about 35 years old, near the gas station near the entrance gate.
