The scriptwriter and cartoonist François Corteggiani, one of the authors of the adventures of Pif the dog, is dead, announced this Thursday, September 22 the publisher Glénat.

It is with sadness that we learn of the death of François Corteggiani who passed away this Wednesday, September 21 at the age of 69
," the publishing house said in a statement.
He died at his home in Carpentras (Vaucluse), the city where he had chosen to settle and continue to draw.
