It has nothing to do with fun anymore: On Thursday night, unknown persons destroyed the large wooden frame with the poster "Mountaineering Village Kreuth" near the natural cheese dairy.
The police are looking for witnesses.
Kreuth
- The act happened right next to the federal highway 318.
According to the police, the perpetrator or perpetrators probably sawed through the two wooden posts of the advertising board with a chainsaw.
They then left the destroyed frame and the banner inside with the advertising poster for the mountaineering village of Kreuth on the grass.
According to the police report, the municipality of Kreuth suffered damage of around 5,000 euros.
Bauhof manager Mehringer: "It's no longer fun"
Martin Mehringer, head of the Kreuther Bauhof, can only shake his head at the night's act of destruction.
"It's not fun anymore," he says.
After all, the community had suffered considerable damage.
"We'll probably be left with the costs," fears the head of the building yard.
Even Mayor Josef Bierschneider can only puzzle over the motives of the perpetrators.
He is also surprised that the crime went unnoticed.
After all, the location of the sign is right next to the B 318, so cars must have passed by.
The Bad Wiessee police also hope that attentive citizens have observed something.
Witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrator or the course of the crime are asked to contact the inspection department on 08022/9878-0.
