Löhnberg - A terrible accident happened in Löhnberg (Limburg-Weilburg district) on Wednesday (September 21).

As reported by fnp.de, according to police information, an 81-year-old farmer was driving his tractor in the Löhnberg district of Selters on a dirt road extending Talhofstraße - the journey ended fatally for him.

According to initial investigations, the farmer lost consciousness while driving around 2:30 p.m., the West Hesse police said.

The tractor then drove down an embankment without braking.

The driver fell through an open door and was fatally injured.

Public prosecutor orders expert opinion - farmer dies in an accident

To clarify the exact course of the accident, an expert was called in by order of the Limburg public prosecutor, the officials said.
