INTERVIEW - The Estonian Minister of Defense details the purchases of military equipment carried out with Poland and the other Baltic countries since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

- The war started in 2014, and February 24 was an escalation with the invasion.

For Estonia and for NATO, this has meant a rapid increase in defense investment.

We have seen a major change in the policy of Sweden and Finland.

They decided to join NATO, which makes the eastern flank of NATO much stronger.

In Estonia, since the beginning of the war, we have taken new decisions on investments in our defense to the tune of 1.2 billion euros, which almost doubles our annual budget...
