Elisabeth Badinter, Hugo Clément, Amélie Nothomb, Marie-José Pérec... They are sportsmen, artists, politicians, business leaders.

Amélie Nothomb, in a champagne-colored dress, her favorite drink, is the first to appear, soon followed by journalist Hugo Clément and street artist C215.

On June 28, at the end of the afternoon, our 43 guests arrived one by one at the headquarters of the Les Échos-Le Parisien group, in the 15th arrondissement of the capital.

There is a billionaire, a former Prime Minister, a triple Olympic champion, some of the most widely read authors in France, stars of the big and small screen, but also a sergeant from the Paris fire department and an emergency doctor who led the fight against Covid-19.

Everyone was there to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Le Parisien Week-End.

The making of video

Some, like Daphne Bürki, made our front page.

“It was in 2013, to illustrate a dossier on erotic literature.

The photographer told me: “Be sexy!

“Except that I was pregnant and that I was nauseous”, remembers, laughing, the TV host, member of the jury of “Drag Race France”, this summer on France 2. Others came to do part of their attachment to our newspaper.

This is the case of the magician and TV host Éric Antoine and the writer Jean-Christophe Rufin, who confides: "I like birthdays, especially since, in the press, they celebrate years of resistance during which a number of titles have disappeared.

»

A few meters further on, Mathilde Seigner, Valérie Damidot and Natasha St-Pier chat casually, while Cécile Duflot goes to make-up.

At 6:30 p.m., everyone is ready.

After regrouping, in a good mood, at the foot of the superb wooden staircase that rises in the entrance hall, this assembly of good fairies from the magazine poses for a birthday photo that will make a mark.

This June 28, Augustin Trapenard and Amélie Nothomb are among the first to arrive at our Parisian premises.

No need to make introductions, the journalist, who now hosts “La Grande Librairie” (France 5), and the writer know each other well.

When they meet, what do they talk about?

Literature, of course.
