The Luhansk People's Republic declared its full readiness to hold a referendum on its accession to the Russian Federation.
The RIA Novosti news agency quoted the Republic's Central Election Commission as saying: "All voting forms have been delivered to the polling stations."
The head of the commission, Yelena Kravchenko, stated that polling stations outside the buildings will open their doors as of 8 am tomorrow.
It is noteworthy that the authorities of the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics announced on September 20 the organization of the referendum on joining Russia in the two republics from September 23 to 27.
The administrations of Kherson and Zaporozhye provinces in southern Ukraine also intend to organize a referendum on joining Russia in the two provinces during the same period.
