Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stressed that the economic problems, energy crisis and inflation in Europe are the result of European sanctions imposed on Russia, noting that if they are lifted, prices will fall immediately and the European economy will have an opportunity to recover and avoid recession.
Sputnik news agency quoted Orban as saying during a meeting of the ruling coalition: “When these sanctions were imposed in Brussels at the beginning of the summer, the European bureaucrats promised that the sanctions would hit Russia, not the Europeans, and since then it has become clear that the imposed sanctions do more harm to Europe than Russia,” calling on coalition members in His country urged to do everything in their power to have Europe lift these sanctions no later than the end of the year.
He pointed out that these sanctions did not shake Moscow, while Europe lost four governments and is suffering from a deep economic and political crisis.
