Here's a way to save for the holidays: a network influencer and cleaning expert recommends stopping using 4 common cleaning products because, according to her, it's just an unnecessary waste of money.
It might sound strange to you to clean the house without these basic cleaning products - but it turns out that they have one simple substitute: microfiber cloths.
According to the influencer (@jillcomesclean on TikTok), you can replace the simple cleaning products with a damp microfiber cloth that collects dust and gives the polish you so desire.
According to her, the various cleaning products not only do not do as good a job as the cloths - they may also worsen the dust situation in the house.
In her viral video, she suggested replacing the dusting spray with a damp microfiber cloth.
She offers a similar replacement for the cleaning and polishing spray of stainless steel surfaces, where she says a similar result can be achieved by wiping them with a wet microfiber cloth and using baby oil to remove the marks.

She returns to her favorite microfiber cloths at the end of the video when she suggests replacing the liquid spray for cleaning glass and mirrors with... of course, a damp microfiber cloth.
To dry the mirror/glass she suggests using another microfiber cloth, this time extra fine.
Her only tip that doesn't involve cloths is for the washing machine.
She recommends replacing expensive fabric softener with vinegar, which "is a natural conditioner and does the same thing without the harsh ingredients and build-up."
She demonstrated all her advice in a video and added: "Get rid of them and replace them!".
