Drunk driving accident in Tsing Yi.
At about 4 in the morning, it was reported that a BMW RV was driving along the Tsing Ma Bridge in the direction of Tsing Yi. When it reached the intersection of the bridge and the Changqing Highway, it suddenly lost control and crashed into the iron fence. The driver was found to report the crime on his behalf.
Rescue personnel arrived at the scene. After inspection, it was confirmed that the driver was awake with only minor injuries. After bandaging, he was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
However, someone who failed an alcohol breath test was arrested on suspicion of "drink driving". It is understood that someone had a breath reading of 54 degrees.
The driver involved was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
