The pressure in eastern China is rising, and a replenishment of the northeast monsoon is expected to reach the south China coast later today.
At 5:00 a.m., a tropical depression located in the waters east of the Philippines gathered about 1,330 kilometers east-northeast of Manila, and was expected to move westward at a speed of about 18 kilometers per hour, generally moving toward northern Luzon.
At the same time, a tropical depression in the northwestern Pacific Ocean is concentrated about 490 kilometers south of Osaka and is expected to move north or north-northeast at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour, roughly moving toward Honshu, Japan.
The weather forecast for Hong Kong today is generally fine and cloudy later, with one or two showers. The maximum temperature is about 32 degrees, with moderate easterly to northeasterly winds, and the wind will be refreshing later.

The Transport Department said that due to urgent road repairs, the first line of Princess Road (towards the Cross-Harbour Tunnel) between the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Hong Chong Road is now closed.
Motorists are only allowed to use the remaining lanes.
