With the participation of 100 productive and professional women, the activities of the Syria Mother of All exhibition, which is organized by the Syrian Artesia project in cooperation with the Aleppo Governorate and in partnership with the Syrian Trust for Development and the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, began today at the Sheraton Hotel in Aleppo and lasts for two days.
The exhibition includes products for handicrafts such as crochet, vitamin, accessories, glass painting, wood carving, candle making, bamboo baskets, and different types of sweets that are famous for Aleppian cuisine.
The head of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, Amer Hamwi, confirmed in a statement to SANA the Chamber's keenness to provide support to all initiatives, festivals and exhibitions that are held in the city of Aleppo to revitalize the economic movement that begins through small and medium enterprises, considering that the exhibition constitutes an incentive to encourage Syrian women to display and promote their products.
The Foundation of the Artesaya Syria project, Hala Al-Kannaya, called on the owners of economic and industrial activities to participate in supporting and improving the productive reality of women by helping them in the sale and marketing of their products.
The director of Manarat Al-Zanoubi at the Syrian Trust for Development, Munir Al-Akash, indicated the secretariat’s keenness to bring about continuous positive change in society based on several basic pillars, including economic projects, which are through vocational training in Syrian beacons to train individuals in the crafts that enable them to achieve a financial resource and work to create New markets to sell and market the products of the beneficiaries of the courses they followed with the aim of achieving continuous financial income.
Noel Moussalli explained that she participated in presenting various types of hand-made accessories, and Media Al-Kourani expressed her happiness in her first participation in the exhibition to promote her handmade displays of clothes and dresses, which she is keen to manufacture at home. Home. Ahed Filterha talked about her exhibits of painting on transparent glass, ceramics, and drawing on wood. Lina Shobak indicated that she had defied her blindness and worked on making various types of bamboo baskets and participating in exhibitions and events.
