The prosecutor's office today (Friday) filed an indictment against Jason Blaise, 30 years old from Bat Yam, for the murder of Yelena Gerenberg on August 25.
According to the indictment, filed by lawyer Shaf Kleinman Shimoni, Gernberg refused to turn the friendship between her and Blaise into a romantic relationship - and he decided to kill her.
In the request to arrest the accused until the end of the proceedings against him, it is written that "the respondent murdered the deceased in cold blood, for no wrongdoing, after planning in advance".
Jason and Villana were friends and used to spend time together, the indictment states.
During the friendship period, which lasted about four years, Jason asked Milena several times to make their relationship romantic - but she refused.

At the end of August this year, Jason decided to kill Yelena and burn her body, so he equipped himself with a knife and bottles of gasoline.
Two days later, Jason drove Yelena from her home in Rishon LeZion to various places in Rehovot, when at the end of the day, the two were supposed to arrive at her sister's apartment.
On the way to her sister's apartment, Jason stopped in the parking lot of the train station in Rehovot to put the plan into action.
So Jason stabbed Yelena in her neck, back and hands, causing her death.
After that, he drove to an open area in the city of Rehovot, where he placed it on the ground and poured gasoline on it, but did not set it on fire, but drove back to his home.
During the trip, he threw away his cell phone, and hers.
Lawyer Kleinman Shimoni stated in the request for arrest: "The defendant murdered the deceased in cold blood, for no wrongdoing. And this after planning in advance, when he planned to burn her body, in a public place."
