The construction fence around the former Jodbad site in Bad Wiessee is gradually falling apart.
The community has already complained about the condition of the owner SME.
The topic causes resentment.
Bad Wiessee
– There is nothing but trouble with the former Jodbad site in Bad Wiessee.
First, the municipality and district office had to fight to ensure that the owner, the Swiss company Sports Medicine Excellence Group (SME), finally took the necessary security measures on the listed lobby.
Now the construction fence around the site is causing new dissatisfaction.
He is apparently dilapidated and poses a danger to passers-by.
Municipal council complained: fence is a hazard for passers-by
It was Wilhelm Dörder (FWG) who brought the unpleasant topic to the municipal council's table.
The fence around the former Jodbad area is dilapidated, some panels have already come loose.
"In the next storm, the high fence will simply blow away," predicted Dörder.
This is a hazard to anyone passing by.
"We have a duty of care towards our citizens and guests," said Dörder and called on the authorities to act.
If the owner does not take action himself, a substitute action must be taken.
That would mean: The competent authorities take remedial action themselves and then charge the person responsible - in this case SME - for the costs of the measure.
If SME doesn't respond, the community wants to lend a hand
Mayor Robert Kühn (SPD) reported that the community had already taken action.
On the one hand, security measures were taken around the broken fence, on the other hand, the owner and architect were written to and asked to rectify the situation.
"If there is no reaction, we will act," announced Kühn.
After all, safety comes first.
