The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, discussed with his Sudanese counterpart, Ali Al-Sadiq, the situation in the region
They also touched on the latest developments in both countries, stressing the need to respect the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the two countries, non-interference in their internal affairs, continuation of the fight against terrorism, the unity of the Arab ranks, and the strengthening of joint Arab action.
Minister Miqdad referred to the positive developments that took place in Syria and the challenges it faces, especially the completion of efforts to combat terrorism and the continuation of the Turkish and American occupations of Syrian lands, in addition to the impact of unilateral coercive measures. They also discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and agreed to continue meetings and contacts between the two countries.
For his part, Minister Al-Sadiq gave a presentation on the developments in the situation in Sudan and the efforts exerted in the framework of the political dialogue.
