Special envoy to Milan
Coming out of the Boss fashion show, a colleague approaches us:
"But, weren't they supposed to do sportswear now?"
It is true that the German brand had spoken a lot, since the pandemic, on its change of strategy, justifying that the jacket was more or less finished, that the new generation teleworked in sweatshirts and that jogging was the new suit…
When, on Thursday evening, the guests of the parade take their places on the bleachers of the Milan velodrome (a former temple of cyclists now devoted to American football, quite a symbol), they therefore expect to see, like last season, logo sweatshirts and caps.
Nay.
Despite the decor, the collection reconnects with what Boss has been known for for almost a century (we'll celebrate in two years): the costume.

So, of course, the classic banker's suit is worn
oversize
(by the "boss" of the Naomi Campbell fashion shows), the sleeves of the sweaters protrude negligently from those of the jackets...
