In Grafing, 80 people set an example for Fridays For Future at a demonstration in the city park on Friday.
Grafing – A little blond girl with a straw hat is sitting in the Grafing city park and is painting a poster.
"Enough!" is written on it in capital letters.
Around 80 people have gathered on the meadow around them, who, together with the Bund Naturschutz, followed Fridays For Future's call for a climate strike on Friday, September 23rd.
Older people in particular are among the demonstrators - "Omas for Future" is on one of the posters - but also a few members of the Green Youth, young people and families with small children are part of the demonstration.
Klaus Grünebach: "We have to do something!"
“It doesn't matter to me whether we're demonstrating, protesting or striking!” explains Klaus Grünebach, one of the co-organisers, at the microphone.
"But we have to do something!"
Bund Naturschutz, Grüne Jugend, ADFC and the network Fair World Trade speak to the people in the city park: It's about food, public transport and saving energy.
And their message is clear and unanimous: "We urge everyone to get involved!"
