Fire brigade focal point: New equipment house and vehicle for Zustorf

The municipality of Langenpreising has big plans for the next few months - so much that Mayor Josef Straßer does not expect that many debts will be reduced.

In the citizens' meeting on Wednesday at the Lintsche, he estimated it at 6.5 million euros.

Zustorf – Since you were in Zustorf at the time, it was inevitable that the citizens would ask about the status of the fire brigade equipment house.

Straßer was prepared: next Tuesday, the municipal council will not meet in public.

Then it will be announced soon how to proceed.

But why not in public?

According to Straßer, it is about specific names, concepts and costs.

The new fire engine for Zustorf is also progressing.

According to Strasser, both investments should run in parallel.

The old fire truck, according to his idea, should be “used as long as it drives”.

It is 28 years old.

He didn't get any opposition.

Sewer investigations in Zustorf are long overdue.

The inner-city development of Langenpreising is on the agenda at the end of October, when a meeting with the consulting architect and the Office for Rural Development is due.

As reported, everything is closely related to the new recycling center, for which Straßer has an appointment with the building authority of the Erdinger district office in the next few days.

Keyword citizen participation: Four architectural designs for the extension of the Villa Regenbogen kindergarten will be shown for assessment on October 27 from 5 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

Straßer said on this subject: "We have to get going." There could have been more drafts, but two were eliminated for formal reasons.

Things got backed up when it came to the tank and rest area on the A 92: When asked by a citizen, Straßer was unable to provide any new information: "It's the same as it was three years ago: we're in the planning approval process."

Turning to the municipal council, he said that things were “not looking good” for the committee in October and November because of all the work.

It is also about the award decision as to who will now build the apartment buildings in the "Thenner-See-Strasse" development area.

Finally, Dorfstrogen should also be cleared.

"The topic has been going on for two years," complained the mayor.

Now the water management office is also putting pressure on it.

The cycle path network is also being expanded.

800 meters are still missing, then you can cycle from Berglern to Moosburg.

And back to the fire brigade: Straßer honored three comrades from Zustorf who have been on duty for 40 years.

Johann Buchner, Josef Maier and Sebastian Scheckenhofer have already received awards from the District Office.

But as the employer of the fire brigade in the community and because the town hall meeting was taking place in Zustorf, Straßer wanted to honor the trio again.

There was ample applause from the large audience.
