The estate of the Rottach beauty pioneer and honorary citizen Gertraud Gruber was auctioned off at the Munich auction house Ursula Nusser - with great success.
Munich/Rottach-Egern –
The winged putti warmed the hearts of several bidders.
The two figures were called up for 750 euros, and they fetched 1,300 euros at the auction in Munich's Ursula Nusser auction house.
There the estate of the Rottach beauty pioneer and honorary citizen Gertraud Gruber came under the hammer.
As reported, a large number of pieces left by Gruber were auctioned off.
The entrepreneur died in March of this year at the age of 100.
The proceeds from the auction benefit a social cause.
This is in the spirit of the deceased, who has been committed to helping people and animals in need throughout her life.
The putti were also among the most coveted objects.
They were sold for 1300 euros.

“Very happy with the result”
"We are very satisfied with the result," says Astrid Zuber from the auction house Nusser.
She was not allowed to reveal the exact amount of the proceeds.
However, almost all pieces were sold.
"Among the lots awarded, there were also a number of nice price increases," said Zuber.
It wasn't just the putti that caused bidding wars in the hall and on the phone, but also the "Head of a St. Bernard" by the Austrian painter Carl Reichert.
The oil painting entered the race for 300 euros, and bidders quickly pushed the sum up over the phone.
Ultimately, however, a bidder in the hall secured the bid for 900 euros.
Post sale at the auction house
An icon depicting the martyrdom of a saint was also in great demand.
The price was set at 150 euros, it was auctioned for 700 euros.
The Irschenberger chest of drawers, estimated at 650 euros, was sold for 850 euros.
According to Zuber, a few unsold objects are in the after sale.
This will probably take place in the auction house, Nymphenburger Straße 86, during the regular opening hours until the middle of next week.
