The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department organizes the "Hong Kong Hiking Challenge" activity. Hikers can scan the QR code at selected check-in spots in 25 country parks to check-in, and collect 5 spots to receive gifts.

From today (23rd) to December 31st, pedestrian hikers only need to register at the event website and scan the QR code with their smartphone at the event site to collect the site's unique "Hong Kong Species Electronic Medal". , and learn about local flora and fauna by reading the relevant information in the electronic medal.

Participants who collect the specified number of electronic medals during the event period will receive a souvenir.

The country park has selected 25 sites, and hikers can scan the QR code to check in.

Complete 5 punch points to get a multi-purpose hood; complete 15 points to get a sports sleeve; if you complete all 25 punch points, you can get a turban and sleeve plus a thermal water bottle.

There will be a group prize in the event. The 5 groups that complete the largest number of stops will get a sports towel.

These 25 check-in stations are widely distributed and are located in the country parks of Hong Kong. I believe that friends who are diligent in hiking can complete all 25 stations.

Procedure for participating in the event:

1. Register an account on the event website and sign the Hiking Charter.

After registration, participants can log in to the "Check Records" page to check the completed site records at any time.

Since the activity requires the activation of the location information function of the smartphone, participants are requested to ensure that the smartphone registered for the activity has this function in order to successfully complete the challenges.

The campaign period is from now until December 31, 2022.

2. The challenge site of the event is located in Hong Kong Country Park.

Before departure, participants can check the location of each stop and the introduction of the country park they belong to in the "Pick-in Stop" on the website, and plan their route to the stop.

3. There are 25 designated sites with QR codes. After the participants arrive at the check-in site, activate the location information function (GPS) of the smartphone, scan the QR code with the phone lens to link to event website.

After opening the webpage, log in to the personal account with the registered mobile phone number. Unregistered people can register the account immediately (group participants only need to enter or select the group name when registering the account).

Participants are required to read the "Personal Information Collection Statement" and click consent, the website will automatically read and record the location information of the participants.

Participants can log in to their accounts at any time to view completed site records.

4. A Hong Kong Species Medal will be collected for each completed site.

Medals are automatically stored in the "Check History".

Every time a site is completed, a unique punch-in photo frame corresponding to that site will be activated for participants to take pictures and share on social media.

5. Those who successfully complete 5 challenge sites or more within the time limit will receive a notification within January 2023 to receive a souvenir.

After the event, the system will provide an electronic certificate.
