An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 shook the Los Lagos region in Chile this Friday, according to reports from the United States Geological Survey (USGS, for its acronym in English).
The seismic focus was located at a depth of 10 kilometers and the epicenter was located 156.5 kilometers east-southeast of Ancud and 220 kilometers east of Puerto Montt.
