For the second consecutive year, the team of tasters from Le Figaro Vin tasted wines from all over the world throughout the year, and in particular the cuvées distributed in France by Place de Bordeaux – a historic system of brokers and merchants and central marketing and distribution of wines.
It has now been a few years since merchants opened up to international vineyards, forging partnerships with some of the most prestigious estates in the world.
If in France the interest of consumers for foreign wines is growing, it remains difficult to find one's bearings on such a vast market, offering a myriad of grape varieties and appellations often unknown to the battalion of the most discerning amateurs.
Following the success of our 2021 edition of this list with our readers, here is our selection of 20 exceptional cuvées from among the hundreds of references tasted, to be discovered this fall 2022.
